seizure disorder
For clients with seizure disorder, our focus at Active Day medical adult day care centers is providing health care supervision in a comfortable, homelike environment that offers a better alternative to placement in an institutional setting.
Active Day staff monitor and record all seizure activity to identify changes in patterns and trends, notifying the client’s physician and caregivers in the event of a change in seizure activity or patterns. Staff also administer or supervise self-administration of medication, ensuring compliance with the prescribed regimen and reporting adverse reactions or side effects to the client’s physician.
