Congestive Heart Failure
Active Day medical adult day care centers help clients with congestive heart failure reduce the need for emergency room visits and hospitalization by monitoring vital signs, blood pressure and weight to identify and facilitate early intervention for possible complications of inefficient heart function such as accumulation of fluid in the lungs, tissue swelling and shortness of breath. Following the physician’s treatment plan, CHF clients are also encouraged to remain active by participating in therapeutic programming and exercise as appropriate.
